Ultra & Lite Now On Sale!

The Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Lite 5G are all officially on sale in the UK. While the Mi 11 went on sale in April, the UK release dates for the other two handsets remained elusive. Here, we’re tracking where to buy the Xiaomi Mi 11 phones in the UK and the best deals around – on contract and SIM-free.

If you’re not already familiar, the Mi 11 is the first handset in the world to boast the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which promises dramatic leaps in 5G, AI, gaming, and photography. The Mi 11 launched alongside the Mi Watch, Mi Watch Lite, and a Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 edition Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2. Watch the launch event again here.

About the Mi 11 range – Which phones can I buy in the UK?

The full range includes five phones: The Mi 11, 11 Pro, 11 Ultra, 11 Lite and 11i. While the UK gets the Mi 11, 11 Ultra, and 11 Lite (5G), the rest of Europe gets an additional 4G Mi 11 Lite and the Mi 11i. Availability breaks down like this:

Mi 11 – UK & Europe
11 Ultra – UK & Europe
11 Lite 5G – UK & Europe
11 Lite 4G – Europe
11i – Europe
11 Pro – China only

The Mi 11 offers a 6.81in AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K (3200×1440) resolution – a first for Xiaomi. Both the Ultra and Pro will offer the Snapdragon 888 processor and up to 12GB RAM. Like the Mi 11, you can expect 2K quad-curved 120Hz AMOLED panels on both phones, but a larger 5000mAh battery (compared to the Mi 11’s 4600mAh) that supports wired and wireless fast charging at 67W.

The Mi 11 Pro will also offer a 50Mp main camera, 13Mp ultrawide, and an 8Mp ‘telemacro’ lens with OIS. The 11 Ultra will offer a 48Mp main camera, and most notably, a mini display on the rear camera module that doubles as a viewfinder, so that the main camera can be used for selfies.

The Mi 11 Lite, with a 6.55in 90Hz AMOLED display, will be available in 4G or 5G connectivity. The 4G option will offer the Snapdragon 732G, while the 5G option will offer the Snapdragon 780G. As for cameras, the Mi 11 Lite will pack a 64Mp main sensor, along with an 8Mp ultrawide and a 5Mp ‘telemacro’. The phone will also support 33W fast charging on a 4250mAh battery.
