Black Friday Xiaomi Mi 11, Lite & Ultra Deals: £200 Off!

If you’ve been holding off buying a phone until Black Friday, you’ve done the right thing. There are plenty of retailers and manufacturers joining in on the deal fun, with Xiaomi holding its own Black Friday sale event where you can get the Mi 11 5G for £599 for a limited time.

Argos is offering it for the same price, though claiming a larger discount of £200. Regardless of what the RRP should be, this is a good price for a top phone. Meanwhile Mobile Phones Direct is bundling a free Nintendo Switch with the Mi 11 Lite 5G, which might be a better deal if you’re after this console anyway.

There’s also a Mi 11 Ultra, but this phone remains elusive in the UK. We’ve done the hard work for you and tracked down all the best Black Friday deals on the Mi 11 range – both on contract and SIM-free. 

You may know already, but the Mi 11 was the first handset in the world to use the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. It launched alongside the Mi Watch, Mi Watch Lite, and a Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 edition Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2.

Don’t confuse the Mi 11 with the similar-sounding budget Mi 11T and 11T Pro – those phones were the follow-up to the Mi 11 range.

Xiaomi Mi 11 – Best SIM-free Black Friday deals

Amazon currently has the best price for 128GB Mi 11 with £200 off, reducing the price to £549. It’s a limited-time deal that ends on Cyber Monday. 

There’s £200 off the 256GB Mi 11 from Argos and Very where it’s reduced to £599.

Xiaomi’s Black Friday sale slashes an £150 off the 128GB option but only  £140 off the 256GB version.

You can pick up the Mi 11 from – it’s only £16 off, but up to £250 off with trade-in.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G – Best SIM-free Black Friday deals

The Mi 11 Lite has £90 off from Xiaomi, a discount being mirrored at other retailers. But Amazon has the best discount at £112

The phone is available in Black, Citrus Yellow, and Mint Green.

The Mi 11 Lite, with a 6.55in 90Hz AMOLED display, is available with 4G or 5G connectivity. The 4G option will offer the Snapdragon 732G, while the 5G option offers the Snapdragon 780G.

As for cameras, the Mi 11 Lite packs a 64Mp main sensor, along with an 8Mp ultrawide and a 5Mp ‘telemacro’. The phone also supports 33W fast charging on a 4250mAh battery.

The Mi 11 Ultra SIM-free is available from Xiaomi, though out of stock at the moment.

We can’t see any contract deals available on the Mi 11 Ultra. Vodafone was the only network offering the Mi 11 Ultra with plans but it’s currently out of stock.

The Mi 11 phones are available at various price points depending on the model you’re after:

Xiaomi Mi 11 prices

UK and European RRPs on the standard Mi 11 are as follows:

8GB RAM/128GB storage – £749/€749
8GB RAM/256GB storage – £799/€799

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra prices

12GB RAM/256GB Storage – £1,199

The Mi 11 Ultra went on sale in the UK on 6 May. Xiaomi is only displaying availability for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option in black for £1,199.

We expected to see an option with 8GB RAM/256GB storage for around £660/€775/$915 based on the ¥5999 Chinese pricing, but that doesn’t look available.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G prices

8GB RAM/128GB storage – £399.

Like the Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi 11 Lite is only available in one configuration: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for £399.

We also expected a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, but that looks like it’s for Europe only at €369.

Mi 11i prices (Europe only)

The Mi 11i appears to be exclusive to Europe for now with prices starting at €649 (around £555/US$765) for 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

Mi 11 Pro prices (China only)

The Mi 11 Pro is only set to sell in China, where it’s available to pre-order with prices starting at ¥4999 (around £550/€645/US$760) for 8GB RAM/128GB storage.

About the Mi 11 range – Which phones can I buy in the UK?

The full range includes five phones: The Mi 11, 11 Pro, 11 Ultra, 11 Lite and 11i. While the UK gets the Mi 11, 11 Ultra, and 11 Lite (5G), the rest of Europe gets an additional 4G Mi 11 Lite and the Mi 11i. Availability breaks down like this:

The Mi 11 offers a 6.81in AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K (3200×1440) resolution – a first for Xiaomi. Other features include a 4600mAh battery suited to 55W fast charging and 50W wireless charging and a 108Mp main camera. Both the Ultra and Pro will offer the Snapdragon 888 processor and up to 12GB RAM. Like the Mi 11, you can expect 2K quad-curved 120Hz AMOLED panels on both phones, but a larger 5000mAh battery (compared to the Mi 11’s 4600mAh) that supports wired and wireless fast charging at 67W.

The Mi 11 Pro will also offer a 50Mp main camera, 13Mp ultrawide, and an 8Mp ‘telemacro’ lens with OIS. The 11 Ultra will offer a 48Mp main camera, and most notably, a mini display on the rear camera module that doubles as a viewfinder, so that the main camera can be used for selfies.
